Bad sports weekend
NOTE: Now that I feel like a “seasoned veteran” blogger with over 300 posts under my belt, I will no longer feel compelled to write something every single day. If there is nothing worth writing about, then I will wait until there is. That should only increase the quality of my writing when I do post. Okay, who am I kidding? I’m just getting lazier.
It was a pretty bad weekend for Philadelphia sports-wise. I spent a late Sunday night at the ballpark watching the Phillies start off their season with an uninspired baseball game. The pregame ceremony was cool, but I guess it was a bad omen when one of the parachutists landed in the parking lot rather than the ballpark. Then the manager couldn’t make his grand entrance because they took away his temporary staircase too soon. Hmm… what else happened? Villanova got blown away in the Final Four, the Flyers lost to another weak opponent, and the Sixers lost by 29 points last night. But I figure that things can only get better from there.
