Some more random observations
Don’t think that this will become Random Thoughts Tuesday just because I also did it last week. That wouldn’t be very “random” now would it? Unfortunately, this is all I’ve got to say today:
- I use Windows XP and always rely on the Show Desktop icon in my toolbar. When I use someone else’s computer that does not have this icon, I get really frustrated having to minimize each window individually.
- I was driving the other day behind a car whose license plate read: SEXYLDY. When I passed by the car, I took a look at the driver and I was very disappointed. The second part of the license plate was true (I think) but not the first part. Whoever at the DMV allowed her to get this plate should be fired.
- Speaking of, did you ever wonder why the World’s Sexiest Man changes every year? I would think that would stay fairly consistent, unless the reigning champ dies or gets really old or something.
- I hate when the weatherman reports there will be “a mix of clouds and sun”. Yeah I could have guessed that myself. Can we be more a little more specific please?
- I love Outback Steakhouse. I eat there whenever I’m in the mood for authentic Australian cuisine.

I used to love Outback Steakhouse - but then they took toowoomba pasta off the menu..
Mrs. Roy: That is too bad about the Toowomba pasta, surprising since that is one of the most popular dishes in Australia, I’ve heard. And everybody there drinks Foster’s, right?
Ms. OD: Yes, the bread there is good, I must say.
Angi: You’re welcome. I am guessing that you are not one of those people who throws around the term “LOL” yet never actually laughs.
Kathy: Thanks, for some reason I did not know about Win+M. I will have to try it. Then my next blog will complain about keyboards with no Windows key.
Talking about meteorologist lingo…. what the **** does “partly cloudy and partly sunny” mean anyway??? Aren’t they the same thing? Somehow “partly sunny” makes you feel better right? But it’s also “partly cloudy” at the same time. I guess it’s just depends on which side of the bed you got out of that day…. but aren’t they both the same? One’s just on the left and one’s just on the right so what difference does it make??? What about “the glass is half full or half empty??? And so on and so on ….
