Inmate complains about chicken in prison
Christopher Butts, who was serving time for a fatal drunken-driving crash, and two other inmates sued a Kentucky prison because of microwave chicken that he purchased, which he claimed contained pus and a digestive tract. A Vermont federal judge (Butts had been serving in Vermont before being transferred to Kentucky) dismissed the case, saying that they could not prove that the product was defective.
I’ll tell you this much: it wasn’t Kentucky Fried Chicken he was eating. I’ve been to prison once (it was a class trip, I swear!) and if the thought of serving hard time doesn’t deter you, the food should. When in college, I visited the maximum security prison that I now live two miles away from. The cafeteria food was so gross I cannot even describe it. Trust me, if I can’t even clean my plate, it must be truly awful! Then again, this guy did kill someone so I can’t say I feel bad for him. And clearly, a little tract with a side of pus didn’t kill him, so he should consider himself lucky.

Eww, that sounds so gross. I have heard some horrible stories about the food in prison’s.
Hey. A West Chester blogger here. I just found you through Iregularly Periodics blog.
At least the judge dismissed this case, instead of allowing this prisoner (who DESERVES to be locked up, by the way) continuing with this ridiculous lawsuit.
This guy should be thankful he still has his life, unlike the other person he killed. (I really dislike it when people drive drunk.)
