Adolf Hitler can’t have his cake or eat it, either

Published by zlobe at 6:08 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Two New Jersey parents are upset at their local grocery store and newspaper after a story came out that ShopRite refused to make a birthday cake with their 3-year old son’s name on it. Why were they denied? Their son’s name is Adolf Hitler Campbell. The newspaper ran the story and the Campbell’s have seen lots of angry internet messages in response. The parents are asking for a little tolerance and feel that people should accept the kid’s name for what it is. The father, Heath, gave his son that name because “no one else in the world would have that name”. Now I guess he knows why.

While I understand that it’s a free country and you can name your kid anything you want, you should also prepare him for a life filled with opposition and discrimination if you give him a name like that. There are always consequences to any action. That goes for their other two kids as well: JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. What is wrong with some people? As a footnote to this story, the parents were able to find a place who would decorate a cake for little Adolf: a Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania.

Wow, what is wrong with some people? It’s like the naming of a kid has become a big joke these days.
