What’s with the Fish song in the pre-game introductions?

Published by zlobe at 8:10 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Unless you live in Philly or Tampa Bay, I’m not sure a lot of people are watching the World Series. After all, it is not the matchup everyone wanted. Sorry Red Sox, Cubs, and Dodgers, but I finally get what I want for a change Smile. So I was on the phone with Kristin when the game (finally) started last night, but when I heard the pre-game introductions for Tampa Bay I started cracking up. The whole time, the stadium sound system was playing this song that went something like this: “Fish fish fish fish fishy fishy fish”. I was confused and so were the Rays players, I think. From what I’ve read, the reason they did that was just to get an annoying kid’s song into the visiting players’ heads. This song certainly qualifies. The link is here, in case you have no idea what I’m talking about:

Fishy Fishy Fishy

My husband and I recently returned from our honeymoon in Hawaii, where we went snorkeling for the first time. We both were singing the Fishy Fishy Fishy song!
