Suspicious package evacuates Citizens Bank Park

Published by zlobe at 8:34 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

The Phillies’ ballpark was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon when three suspicious packages were discovered near the first-base entrance. The packages were discovered and the bomb squad was called in to investigate. They were wrapped in duct tape with exposed metal. The packages were exploded by the bomb squad and the ballpark was re-opened. You want to know what was in the packages? Hot dogs. You know those guns that shoot t-shirts into the crowd at a sporting event? Well, the Phillies have a gun that their mascot, the Phillie Phanatic, shoots hot dogs out of.

The “metal” they saw was a foil hot dog wrapper. The duct tape is wrapped around the dogs so they don’t fall apart when you fire them out of a gun. By the way, if anyone has ever eaten a hot dog that was shot from a gun, let me know how it tasted. I know a lot of people think that hot dogs are deadly, but I don’t think this is what they meant. I hope someone got a video of this, because I’ve always wanted to see an exploding hot dog.
