Brett Minors
For the past few days, everyone was wondering what would happen to Brett Myers after his latest dismal start. Well, today the question was answered: The Phillies have sent Brett down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. What this will accomplish I am not sure, but what a year it’s been for the guy who was a starter, then was a closer, then he tossed his glove in the air when the Phillies won the division and never saw it again, then got a new glove, then was a starter again, and now is a horrible 3-9 pitcher. Somewhere in that time he also played a prank on Kyle Kendrick (see below).
Maybe he should have put more of his focus onto being the #2 pitcher on the staff. Now he is an Iron Pig and I don’t know if he can turn this season around.
